Wendy Norton is a mixed media artist who works primarily with thread, fabric and paint to create artworks and wall hangings. Working in Bristol her inspiration is taken from the colours and shapes of the natural world, be they observations of seemingly everyday plants, flowers, and natural forms, or the beautiful Jurassic coastline of Southwest England. In addition to large wall pieces Wendy has also developed a range of resin-coated textile jewellery using the same technique of free-hand machine embroidery.
